Friend of the soul ,
Compassionate Father,
Draw your servant toward your will;
Your servant will run like a gazelle, and prostrate himself
before your splendor.
Because your friendship to him is sweeter to him than the
dripping of the honeycomb or any other taste.
Majestic!
Beautiful! Radiance of the universe!
My soul is sick with love for you.
Please, my God, heal her please, by showing her the
pleasantness of your radiance.
Then she will be strengthened, and she will be healed, and
she will have eternal joy.
Most faithful!
May your mercy arise,
and may you have pity on your beloved child, for how much
how much!
have I longed to gaze upon your powerful splendor.
Please, my God, love of my heart; have pity and don't
conceal yourself from me.
Be revealed, beloved, and spread the shelter of your peace
over me.
Illuminate the earth with your glory; we will rejoice and be
glad in you.
Hurry! Beloved, for the time has come. Be gracious to us for
eternity.
